In the spirit of “less is more”, we’ve designed Pru1 with minimal form wall wash illumination.

Why two Wall Washes?

Flat Wall Wash. Pru1 Flat Wall Wash bathes walls in soft, even, floor-to-ceiling light to create a monolithic accent wall. Fixture placement (setback) is critical for this all-encompassing effect. Too close to the surface being lit, and the evenness is compromised. Too far, and the light spills onto the floor. For optimal effect, max intensity is 20 degrees, with fixture placement 36 inches away for 8 to 9-foot mounting.

Focal Glow Wall Wash. Designed to highlight artwork or add drama to a vertical surface, Pru1 Focal Glow creates a sweeping curve with a highlight at eye level, diminishing smoothly above and below. The max intensity angle is raised to almost 40 degrees with the fixture typically placed 36 inches away – again, dependent upon mounting height.
