BIONICPRO IS THE ONLY LINEAR FAMILY WITH A CONTINUOUS, UNBROKEN LINE OF LIGHT – no seams or light leak interrupting the smooth, uniform illumination, up to 250 ́. A typical 32-foot linear/slot row has five seams, LED flashes through cracks and at the ends, and just enough space for bugs to find their way in, the issues just get worse when compounded by multiple rows. BionicPro seamlessly ends linear light leak issues while also resolving lens-fit problems.

Typical linear lenses have a narrow tolerance for proper fit, too tight and lenses won’t fit, too loose, they lose the fight with gravity and fall out – mud-in ceilings can be especially challenging. Our BionicPro seamless lenses are designed with 1/8 ̋ overlap on each side and at the end caps, resolving the lens fit dilemma with a continuous, seamless lens.

Why Channels?

Channels provide maximum flexibility in mounting points on the ceiling/wall (drilled in the field into structure).
2 mounting points per channel required, all channels are the length of the fixture. .75˝ Channel accommodates SOOW cord
(8 foot, 6 conductor cord), 2˝ Channel accommodates liquitite Flex with sealed connectors (6´ long 6´ conductor cord).

BionicPro is now Square with Uplight!

BlueHue

—   Newly discovered blue-sky receptors (450-490nm) in our eyes are believed to drive improved daytime alertness, mood, brain function (increased serotonin).

—  BluHue BIOS SkyBlue^TM pinpoints peak 490nm sensitivity to provide the most benefit from an electric light source.

—   At night, simply dim the lights to remove SkyBlue^TM (specify “Blu_D” to dim SkyBlue spike separately [night mode]).

HOW DOES TRUBEAM WORK?

We began with a massive scale-down of the prismatic structure, down to the nano-level, leveraging emerging technology to create optics far better suited to the increasingly diminutive size of LEDs. Then we increased the number of light- controlling prisms by a factor of 50, allowing for precise mapping of the light distribution – controlling all beam patterns using the lens exclusively.

THE RESULT? A patent-pending design which establishes continuity of distributions across all four aperture sizes, simplifying the specification process and freeing designers to mix sizes on the same job. Optic changes in the field are easy with just a lens swap.

TRUBEAM OPTICS IN BIONICPRO:

• A refractive lens that does all the work. Now all fixtures can accommodate any distribution with the swap of a lens.

A BETTER LAMBERTIAN: We’ve even given the BionicPro satin lens a wider distribution, to help meet Well Building circadian standards for vertical illumination (lighting walls and smiling faces) with a smoother, more even distribution of light, plus outstanding lumen outputs and efficacies.

Our BionicPro Medium Wall Grazer (MGZ) has a 15˚ to 20˚ beam width (aperture and regress dependent). Install at the perimeter, recessed a few inches off the wall for improved performance (especially in narrow apertures) or as a linear luminaire. Multiple regress and louver options at all four apertures for

A breakthrough industry first, Prudential Lighting’s PERIMETER FILL optic washes space in light from one side only (ideal for hospital corridors), with huge cost savings, outstanding distribution, and far more energy efficiency than typical perimeter lighting solutions.

Froederdt hospital in Wisconsin utilized our Perimeter Fill to illuminate several floors of corridors, cutting fixture and installation costs by half and reducing energy needs by more than 60% compared to using typical cove lighting on both sides of corridors.  Their stringent 50 foot-candle average at the working plane was easily met.

BATWING

OUR BIONICPRO2 BATWING EASILY OUTPERFORMS ANY SATIN LENS LINEAR SLOT.

Powered by our TruBeamTM optics, BionicPro batwing outperforms the typical Lambertian satin acrylic by a long shot. While it resembles a soft acrylic lens in appearance, it has the capacity to throw light much further, allowing for fewer fixtures with wider spacing between them, saving upfront installation costs and reducing the amount of energy consumed over the long haul.

FLAT WALL WASH (WWF)

The Flat Wall Wash covers vertical surfaces in soft, even floor-to-ceiling light to create a monolithic accent wall. The optic’s peak intensity is aimed at the intersection of the wall and floor, keeping spill light off the floor, and following the vertical line of the wall up as high as possible.

Fixture placement is critical. Too close to the surface being lit, and the evenness is compromised. Too far, and the floor fights for attention. We aim our max intensity at 15 degrees, so for a 9-foot wall the fixture is placed 30 inches away. These charts show the roll setback distance plays in creating the right effect.

FOCAL GLOW WALL WASH (WWG)

Designed to highlight artwork or a logo, so we raise the angle for maximum impact. Instead of following the vertical line of the wall, the intensity is cut back fluidly – creating a sweeping curve with no jaggedness or striations on the wall.

Here too, placement is critical for the desired effect. Too close to the surface and the highlighted area intensifies, moving too high up the wall, place it too far away and the dynamic quality gets muted. For the WWG, our maximum intensity is aimed from 22- 30 degrees (depending on aperture). To create the ideal area of highlight for your project, use these charts or run footcandle studies.
