WELL Building Standard (WELL) Points.
Many of our products qualify for WELL points, enhancing human health and well-being, including our luminaires for LO3 Circadian Lighting, LO4 Glare Control, and LO7 Electric Light Quality. Our BionicPro3-4-5 Batwing meets the elusive UGR of 16 or lower for Glare Control (LO4).

The Circadian Lighting Design feature within the WELL Building Standard™ aims to support and align the lighting environment with human biological rhythms, enhancing health, well-being, and productivity. This feature focuses on providing lighting solutions that mimic natural daylight patterns, stimulating the body’s internal clock and promoting better sleep, mood, and overall health.

Solution A: Tunable White
— Available on our BionicPro Series, P3900-4000, 8900-9000, 3600 and, O.
— Melanopic Ratio for BluHue BIOS is on our BioPro SmartSpecs.
— SPD’s are on our specs, also in Excel 5nm increments, available upon request.
Solution B: Intensity Control
— Higher intensity (achievable with most luminaries).

The Light Glare Control feature in the WELL Building Standard™ focuses on minimizing glare from both electric lighting and daylight, enhancing visual comfort, productivity, and overall well-being in indoor spaces. Glare can cause eye strain, discomfort, and distraction, and this feature aims to create environments with optimal lighting conditions.
Option 1
a. 100% of light is Indirect
— Prudential fixtures with Indirect only options:
BionicPro Linear, Pru1, BoltPro shapes, ZenithPro
b. Fixture UGR of 16 or lower
— BionicPro3-5 Batwing achieves L04 Glare Control
NOTE: Fixture UGR of 16 or < is difficult to achieve, our BionicPro3-5 with Batwing distribution is one of the few in the industry that can do so.
Option 2: Space considerations
a. UGR of 19 or lower within all regular occupied spaces.
— BionicPro Batwing distribution will help achieve this better than most linear luminaires, but this standard requires job-specific Lighting Application studies where this can be measured.

The Electric Light Quality feature in the WELL Building Standard™ aims to provide flexibility and adaptability in lighting systems to meet the diverse needs and preferences of occupants. By enabling personal control and automated adjustments, this feature enhances visual comfort, supports circadian health, and improves productivity.
Part 1: Enhanced ColorRendering quality (1 point)
All PRU Fixtures qualify (CRI >90) when ordered with 90+ CRI LEDs
NOTE: TM30 data is available for BionicPro, SnapPro + BoltPro, and other fixtures on the last pages of spec sheets. Consult factory if you need Excel data.
Part 2: Manage Flicker (2 points)
Option A: Our Standard DM01 drivers are classified as “reduced flicker operation” per California Title 24. 5% or less flicker below 90Hz.
NOTE: BoltPro, HalfSnapPro, SnapPro are CA Title 24 JA8 listed for residential and multi-family use.
Option B: Our Standard DM01 drivers meet recommended practices 1, 2, or 3 as defined by IEEE standard 1789-2015 LED.
LEED® Points
We help customers earn points toward LEED certification by meeting the strictest
criteria in key categories of sustainable building projects, through:

Recycled content varies and is on our SmartSpecs.

Daylighting features (integrated controls, available on most fixtures)

Lighting performance (power densities in line with ASHRAE 90.1-2016)
Control Technologies
We’ve partnered with multiple controls manufacturers to provide our customers with wide-ranging sustainability
options including simple sensor integration, PoE, wireless, VLC and other next-generation platforms.
